This is a lovely time of year: Spring, Summer and Autumn to look forward to. The stress of Christmas and New Year is but a distant memory and we can now make the changes in our lives that we have always promised ourselves. I won’t mention the dreaded B word that seems to have possessed the whole country and our political leaders. I hope that this madness will soon burn itself out and ‘the people’ will come together in harmony und unity to strive for a peaceful world that embraces all people. In spite of what we may think there is no ‘them’ and ‘us’, that is the illusion we all have to grapple with when we incarnate into a physical dimension. Human consciousness is slowly evolving to recognise the unity and Oneness of all things. Everything we think, say or do has an effect in some way. We may not even see or be aware of the consequences that we have set in motion. In fact our thoughts may cause greater harm than the repercussions we will experience from physical decisions we have made.
We have only to look at our planet to see what our actions have created. It is almost no longer ‘fit for purpose’ for humans and all other forms of life that we share our once beautiful planet with. Yes, superficially, it still looks stunning, but look a little deeper and we will see that our mess and pollution is everywhere.
We have become so blinded with our own importance and been seduced into thinking that having more possessions and transforming our bodies will bring us happiness. Of course, those of us on a spiritual path know that this isn’t true, but we are caught up in a system that demands that we consume ever more to keep the engines of our ‘civilised and modern’ world rolling.
So, what’s the answer? How do we get off this treadmill and have a rethink to change this road to nowhere? Being an optimist, I think that change is already happening. It’s subtle and working from below, rather than the usual top down system. (Power from the top controlling those below.) As I enjoy keeping in touch with all manner of projects around the world, I have seen so many spiritual movements, alternative healing/health practices and enlightened people showing the way to a sustainable future. So many of the young are already on board. In fact, if like me, you have been on this journey for a long time, you will have noticed and know the amazing changes that have been taking place over the last 40+ years. It’s taken a relatively short time for modern man to trash planet Earth, but with the expertise of scientists and a spiritual road map that liberates us from religious dogma, we can start to heal the harm that has been done and achieve Heaven on Earth.
Decide to network
Every conversation you have
Every meeting you attend
To express your fundamental beliefs and dreams
Affirm to others the vision of the world you want
Network through thought
Network through action
Network through love
Network through the spirit
You are the centre of a network
You are the centre of the world
You are a free, immensely powerful source
of life and goodness
Think day and night about it
And you will see a miracle happen:
the greatness of your own life
in a world of big powers, media, and monopolies
But of seven and a half billion individuals
Networking is the new freedom
The new democracy
A new form of happiness

LOVE & KINDNESS
When your heart centre opens in love and kindness towards all creatures, it begins to grow and expand, and can be seen by those with clear vision as a light radiating forth. Love God faithfully, and this light waxes and becomes brighter. By the power of this light miracles can be wrought, healings are performed, and all the spiritual beauty of human life is revealed. Development of this kind of sunlight within your own being enables you to develop what is loosely called clairvoyance or clear vision. Clear vision means an inward knowing. When you have this, you know the truth, you recognise the love that exists within your brethren. You also understand their soul needs. If you have not developed the light, you are so often deaf and blind to your brothers’ and sisters’ needs and to the yearning in their hearts.
With clear vision you have an inward recognition of truth, not only in humanity but also in the scriptures of the great religions. You go right to the mark. You are direct in all your dealings, but are also aware of any hurt which your brother or sister may feel, and so you are careful and tender in action and speech. The way to unlock the door to the kingdom, the heavenly mysteries, is by the way of meditation and love, and not by meditation alone, but by living a simple, loving, caring way toward all creatures. The spirit must remain unaffected by the challenge of matter, of the lower life. Strive to respond to beauty and strive to feel love toward life. Let your heart be always in tune with the Infinite Love. If you can live in this manner, you will be living your meditation. You will be continually meditating upon that love which is the light, and to follow that light is the way to freedom from all limitations of the flesh. This is how the masters perform their miracles. They become saint-like in life. They dwell continually upon the thought of God, the purity of God, the love of God. They live in it. It comes to them and it goes from them. They become illumined through the development of the inner light - the light which is not only something beautiful in your heart, but a reality which permeates the very flesh which clothes your soul.
The light has to shine through matter and use it, control it, glorify it. If you do what you can to purify your own physical atoms by right thinking, right speech, right action, right living, judging no one for what they do but looking to yourself; if you follow these precepts, then imperceptibly you will find that your consciousness is raised, and will uncover a happiness of which you have not dreamed. You will know peace in your heart, joy beyond earthly comprehension, and a gracious and gentle power which will enable you to make all crooked places straight, which will enable you to open the prison doors of your life.

Sitting at home thinking about the events in the Seminar at Steyning, where we were asked to think of something amazing that had happened in our lives recently, three events came to mind immediately.
Recently, I had an accident, and at the time it wasn’t in a busy area, and there was no-one around before it happened. As if by magic, these three young men appeared. One phoned the ambulance, and the other one propped me up from behind with his knees, until the ambulance arrived. I never saw his face, because he was behind me all the time.
A lady in a car stopped to help. She went and collected John, and a blanket, as he was at home at the time. Two days later, she rang our doorbell to see how I was doing (we didn’t know her).
Secondly, I was waiting to come home from physio at the Polyclinic, and a lady passing by asked me if I was waiting for transport home. I said no, I was waiting for a bus. She said, I have an empty car, tell me where you live and I’ll drop you home, which she did. I didn’t know her.
Thirdly, I was waiting at a bus stop, and because of my sight problem, I can’t read the signs on the board. There was only me, and a young man with a Mohican hairstyle and facial rings. I said, “Excuse me, young man”, and asked him to read the board for me. He said, “Are you talking to me?” to which I replied, “There’s only you and me here, so I suppose I must be”. He checked the board for me, and said my bus wasn’t showing. So I sat down. Then, he said my bus was due in four minutes, so I thanked him.
Then, he said. “Your bus is right behind mine, so I’ll see you on yours first, then get on mine.”
I said, “What if you miss yours?” to which he replied, “My route has plenty of buses, so I’ll wait for the next one ..”
Two things came out of these experiences. One, never judge a book by its cover, and two, be aware of the good things in life. There are as many as there are bad, but we are being bombarded by the media with all the negative things, so look further a field and find the other side of the coin.
The good things are there, just be aware of them.
The Meaning of Life
Earthly life is a school and a place of learning. Every lifetime is a journey and not a destination. All life in the whole of creation consists of circles within circles and cycles within cycles that move in an upwards winding spiral onto ever higher levels of existence. Every human lifetime represents one of these circles that is subject to the same seasons as the world around us, i.e. spring and summer, autumn and winter. Each circle has its beginning in the world of spirit and also ends there.
Don’t undermine your worth and waste your time by comparing yourself with others. On the inner level of life we are all one and although in many ways everyone is the same we are still special and unique beings and therefore different from each other. Refuse to set your goals by what other people think of as important. You alone and your inner guidance know what at any given moment is good and right for you. Therefore, pay attention and follow its advice.
Don’t take anything for granted, especially not the people and things that are closest to your heart. Believing that without them your life would be meaningless is utter folly because everything in earthly life is a gift on time and only on loan. Eventually it has to be handed back in as good condition as possible. True and everlasting security can only be found in God and never in our present existence and only the higher and highest aspects of life are of lasting and eternal value. Knowing these things, be thankful for everything that is in your life and do not cling to anything, when the time for letting go has come.
Don’t allow your life to slip through your fingers - live it now and refuse to dwell unduly on the past or the future. Instead, live consciously one day at a time and make an effort to learn something from everything that comes before you, so you can benefit from it, no matter what may still be ahead. For as long as there is love in your heart and soul, and you have something to give and share with others, there is no reason for giving up. Things are only over when we stop trying and in truth even then they are not. But that’s a different story entirely! Whatever happens, do not shy away from anything. The tests and trials that come our way are life’s way of helping us to bring forth our inner strength.
Don’t shut love out of your life by saying you cannot find it. Love is the law of life. Its value is eternal and whatever love we give to anyone unerringly finds its way back to us. Therefore, the surest and quickest way of receiving love is giving it.
And the fastest way of losing it is trying to hold on to it. The best way of keeping it is giving it wings, setting the beloved free to fly, so they can grow through their own experiences. If it’s love, it will return to you. If it is not, you would not want it anyway.
Pay attention to your dreams. Having none means existing without hope. And without hope life lacks purpose and meaning. Take time and stop once in a while to indulge in some dreaming about what kind of world you would like to live in. Our thoughts create our future reality. Dreaming of and frequently thinking about our ideal world is a vital step towards bringing it into being.
Last but not least, do not move through your life so fast that you can no longer recognise where you have been and where you are meant to go. Bearing in mind that life is a journey and not a destination, make an effort to savour yours every step of the way. Even if a human lifetime lasts a hundred years, it is but a brief interval on the evolutionary pathway that in the end takes each one of us back home into the conscious awareness of our loving union with God and all life.
MY SOUL HONOURS YOUR SOUL
I HONOUR THE PLACE IN YOU WHERE THE WHOLE UNIVERSE RESIDES.
I HONOUR THE LIGHT, LOVE, TRUTH, BEAUTY & PEACE
WITHIN YOU BECAUSE IT IS ALSO IN ME.
IN SHARING THESE THINGS WE ARE UNITED.
WE ARE THE SAME.
WE ARE ONE.
